Magpies eating termites - natural control
One of our technicians went to a job in Greenslopes, Brisbane, to treat some live termites that had been exposed when the external lining was removed. By the time he had arrived, a family of Magpies were feasting on the frantically fleeing termites.
It is well known that birds highly rate termites as a great source of nutrients. They’re like yummy little doughnuts on six legs. But they rarely get to them as they are typically concealed and travel subterraneanly.
If you find termites in your garden, and God forbid, in your house, there might not be a hungry family of Magpies nearby! So call us on 1300417007 to arrange a visit.
