Termites will eat anything!
Recently we did a termite inspected to a unit in Mount Gravatt, Brisbane. To the owner’s shock and horror, our technician, Hernan, found live termites eating an old record cabinet stored in the garage.
This piece of furniture was made from soft Scandinavian pine, a highly desirable food source for termites. The termites came up through a gap between the concrete slab and the brick wall and travelled over the concrete to attack the cabinet.
