To do a thorough termite inspection of your home, the inspector should know the main areas of concern for concealed termite entry. They should also know the measurement guidelines that are stated in the Australian Standards.
Most of the “measurement” guidelines are about having adequate visual inspection zones, from the ground, between attachments and to the top edge of the footing (slab edge).
Your Inspector doesn’t need to have an encyclopedic knowledge of the Standards, but, at least, they should know the below measurements.
