An effective and safe approach is to use bait gel. Bait gel is applied in dabs inside cupboards and other nooks and crannies of a boat. The cockies soon detected the gel and readily eat it. They soon die and their carcasses are then eaten by the remaining population. It can have a “cascade” affect and eliminate the cockroach population on the boat in a matter of days.
