Our treatment warranty
When you have a chemical termite treatment installed by Conquer Termites, your home is covered by our treatment warranty.
What this means in simple terms:
- If termites enter your home through the treated area we installed, we will re-inspect and re-treat the affected area.
- If you (or your property manager) have any concerns during the 12-month warranty period, you can contact us, and we’ll assess the situation.
- After a successful annual warranty inspection, the warranty can be extended for a further 12 months.
Regular inspections are important – they allow us to confirm the treatment is performing as intended and that conditions around the home haven’t changed.
Insurance – what it actually means for you
Conquer Termites holds $10 million in Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
This insurance is there to protect you only in the unlikely event of negligence on our part. In practice, it provides peace of mind that you’re dealing with a properly insured, professional company.
It’s important to understand that there is no insurance product available that covers future termite damage after a treatment has been installed. A product called TimberSecure previously existed, but this has been withdrawn by insurers and is no longer available.
About treatment failures (being upfront)
No termite management system – chemical or baiting – comes with absolute guarantees. That’s why ongoing inspections are critical.
In our experience, treatment failure is rare, occurring in roughly 1 in 300 treatments. When failures do occur, they are most commonly associated with homes that require drilling and injecting through concrete, where conditions are more complex.
