We recently treated a house in Murarrie that was under attack from termites (White Ants) that came up the ramp at the rear.

When you first look at the house you really wouldn’t think it was being chewed by termites as it has a suspended floor, on steel piers, over a meter off the ground. But these persistent termites

found a conceal way into the house up the “back door” along the attached ramp. Luckily, they only damaged a small portion of a hardwood bearer.

Remember, termites are constantly foraging around your home looking for a concealed way in so they can feed on the timber and take it back to their nest to feed their babies and the Queen. If you don’t have a current chemical treatment in place to stop them bridging out of the ground and into your home, then you better be very, very vigilant.
